PGCE + Visa

Good afternoon,

I’m an Austraian NET currently working in a kindergarten in Hong Kong. I’m also studying a bachelor through and Aus uni long distance at the same time. I’m planning on completing a PGCE once I’ve finished my degree; however I’m unsure how my placement will work in terms of Visa sponsorship.

I’ve got a Visa sponsorship for my current workplace but they are not suitable for completing a placement. I want to know if a British PGCE would qualify for a training Visa if I do my placement in HK and if I’d be able to be hired as a TA at the same time.

Ive contacted Immd however it was difficult to get a clear response. Has anyone been in the same situation and can point me in the right direction?
