    I'm quite surprised that not everyone here is signed up for e-Tax. Through that, applying for holdover of provisional tax is a trivial online operation where you can submit supporting documents (resignation/redundancy letters etc). Response/agreement time when I last did it was within 2 working days.

    Thanks for sharing. 2 days is really quick. I signed up e-tax since the first year I moved into HK, it's so convenience indeed.
