Does anyone one know if there are any jobs available for a 15 year old during the summer? i think it would be a good experience for my daughter and friends if they could spend some time over the summer doing something useful and experience earning some money by themselves. Any ideas?

Babysitting, tutoring and dog walking are all done by teens pretty frequently around where I live. They put up notices at the ParknShop. Have several friends who use HKIS high school students for babysitting. At Parkview a couple teens wash cars on the weekends. Not sure about 9-5 type jobs for teenagers.

Both 15 ( girls), Hong Kong residents but not chinese.
Eurasian actually and well thay are trustable. I just dont want them slacking of ALL summer. I think babysitting might be a good idea but i doubt strangers would be so trusting. If any one had a job that needs doing during the summer at one point feel free to ask. They're pretty good with kids and love being outside and taking care of animals but theyre just as happy to do a quiet job as well.

How fluent are their English? Do they speak Cantonese as well? It'll be a bit difficult for them to find summer jobs in office if they cannot communicate in Cantonese.

There are places at which they could volunteer, if money is not the important thing.
