Just wondering how much we need to pay to the recruitment agencies here in HK, if we successfully land a job via their referral? Do they charge both parties(the employee and the employer), or only the employers get charged?
Thanks very much!!

Should normally be employers and the charge is proportionate to the salary and seniority of the hire.
If they want to charge you (as an employee) and you're very desperate... make sure your employer knows that you're being charged.
Thank you very much for your replies...Big relief here I had thought recruitment agencies would work the same way here as real estate agencies---they charge a commission of 50% of the first month rent on the tenants as well as the landlords!
