Volunteering at "Make A Wish Foundation"

Hiya!
just wondering whether anyone here volunteers at "Make A Wish Foundation" in HK?
I've sent my application to volunteer but after a few weeks they haven't replied yet, plus their webpage is incredibly slow. It seems that what they do is great.
Is it really hard to become a volunteer there?
Or has all volunteers services stopped because of swine flu?

I have registered as a volunteer on their website and have sent a mail to them twice seeking some information but haven't any replies even after weeks.

Could anyone who has experience with any of these organisations suggest how to get involved ?

Any suggestions about other similar organisations will also be appreciated..

What sort of volunteer work are you guys look for?

I'm am very involved with local charity work and would gladly point you in the directions of local groups that need help.

I am currently trying to structure a project to help feed children from low income families in Sham Shui Po and another project to help a Food Bank with a requirement that they have for baby milk powder.

No, no and no! Infact given the economic climate .. more work needs to be done than ever before.

I am a long time volunteer for Make A Wish foundation here at Hong Kong. I would say that it'll be easier if you contact them on the phone to get more info. I am not sure why they're not responding to their email.
