    Salary for Administrator cum Accountant

    Hi All,

    I am new to Hong kong.

    I would like to know what salary is expected for an Administrator Cum Accountant. I have 5 yrs experience fron Dubai.

    Are you a qualified accountant or do you mean "bookkeeper"?

    i have practically worked in tally software, BRS till finalization.

    Them somewhere around hk$15,000 or so, I would guess.

    this is basic, how about the housing allowance? do the companies give housing allowance only to the employees they provide visa or otherwise also.

    Companies don't provide visas - Immigration does. And I don't think you will get a visa for a basic admin/bookkeeping job - plenty of locals are available to do those jobs.

    I would expect $15,000 to be the total package. Possibly plus a 13th month bonus.

    Anyway OP cum accountant, for about 10 - 15K a month I very much doubt you'll find anyone to give you a housing allowance.
    Do you have any other skills - fluency in Canto-pop, Mandarin & another language?

    15K is on rather the low side for ImmD to issue a visa, isn't it?

    But it doesn't mean the same as "with" in many circumstances... "afternoon tea with dinner" implies to me two meals served together; "afternoon tea cum dinner" implies a single hybrid meal replacing both.
