English teaching in HK

Hello there,
I would love to spent some time in HK teaching English starting next school year 06/07. What would my chances be at getting english teaching job in HK?

I am from Slovakia with finished MBA studies (management, marketing) at american university, have ESL certificate, and teaching experience in my free time (teaching mostly the individuals). I have spent 4 summer holidays in the US, where I gained excellent English.

Oh it depends on what kind of schools you wanna teach in. Have a look at different job websites in HK, mainstream / international school should start recruiting people for next academic yeat pretty soon.

Have you thought of teaching business courses or something like that? There should be plenty of chances in the market as well. If you'd be interest in teaching both fields, I guess you'd have a higher chance to find something here!

hi all,
is holding a post graduate dergee in english and teaching experience of 1 year sufficient ?? or is it mandatory for me to have a toefl diploma to become an english teacher there in HK?
moreover what are the chances for an indian national to get a working visa there and what is the process through which any employer could sponser me..what is the probable time when they are hiring teachers for the academic session 2007??
how can i contact different schools or tutorials?any kind (either full or part time) of teaching job is preffered providing they are helping me for the working visa
