anyone got tips on getting a seat on the MTR train? I get on at tai po. Should I go for the front and rear sections? seem like everyone goes towards the middle of the train.

I normally take the tram in the morning, so 5-10mins. Afterwork I prefer to walk it so thats 20-25mins depending on how many times I get disrupted by girls wearing hotpants.

Shit... I just had a brain fart. I hastily voted 30 minutes - 1 hours, but that is just one way! Not that is matters, but is there any way to change my vote?

Crap. I did the same. I wonder how many others did too. I guess the poll is messed up now.

no difference, unless, you catch from sheung shui, you won't get a seat during 6.50 to 10am.

5 - 7 minutes each way via shuttle or taxi.

going from tai po to north point, there is a bus but I would have to walk about 15 mins to catch it and it will take another 70 mins to get to north point. Is there a site where I can look up mini bus routes?

Yep. YPMAP.com then look on the transportation page. It can be quite annoying to use though - I just tried searching and it crashed on me.
