Putting screens on the bridge is a good idea, imagine how many people would be standing there watching and blocking the flow of people using the bridge, it would cause a nightmare for an hour or so of people trying to or coming from the ferry pier.

Agreed, my first thought when I saw the screen was "damn bastards blocking off free views" then realised that a crowd 3-4 deep along that side of the bridge wouldn't be very good.
Although, they could put up barriers a few feet back from the railing and have officers encouraging traffic to flow. Would be nice for tourists
Is that normal? I vaguely recall seeing what look like "normal people" on the sidelines of various motor events on TV - it seems pretty churlish to try and block people from entering adjacent buildings to watch for example! (I agree re the footbridge, that's different).
It's been a while since I was at the Library at City Hall but the view of the excavations (said it was a while) from the lift lobby on the Adult Library floor was not bad. The window will still be there.
Should have a decent view from the office
Might set up a beer stand and offer some chairs etc. Given anyway those damn car make no noise, being indoor in a nice cool air con is even better ;-)
Ifc rooftop on top of the Apple store they are installing some camera cables (and clean the glass) and ifc staff just confirmed area will be closed.
Paul Zimmerman went live on FB to moan about the shielding on the bridge over looking the circuit LOL
