    E-prix free vantage points

I'm not really interested in this but since I need to take the ferry to TST on Saturday, I thought I might have a look. Does anyone know if the pedestrian areas around the place will be used normally or if the organizers plan on closing them off. I hope to get a good free vantage point of some of the cars in action if I can.

I am guessing as it only took a couple of years to arrange the event that needs streets in Central blocked off it must only be about the size of a karting circuit if you take the pedestrian event in DeVoux Road as a precedent which took 16 years of lobbying.

This is Hong Kong so I suspect there will be very few free viewing areas!

Surely the best viewpoint would be the walkway between IFC and the Star Ferry pier? Or will they close that off?

Nope - should be open. Probably very crowded!

I try to avoid going to apple stores if I can. I'm not sure if they'll let people watch from the footbridge to the ferry from IFC, or if they'll cover up that area to prevent crowds forming.

I just read up on the schedule online, it seems there is no Firday practice session like a proper GP event. On Saturday eprix cars will be out at around 3pm, the same time as the Japanese GP quali on tv which will be much more interesting so I'll probably not bother with this.

Roof of IFC above the Apple store perhaps.

From the treadmills within Pure IFC you will have a perfect view

(if you have a membership that is)

I didn't realize it is that small. Looks almost like a joke.
