    Samsung v/s LG LCD TV

I am choosing between a Samsung and LG TV. Any idea which brand is better? Cos seems to me that they have same warranty terms and yet LG is slightly cheaper. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks!

My recommendation is to google for reviews on the specific models you're looking at. I'm very happy with my 46" Samsung 8-series TV, the image quality is the best I've seen on an LCD.

depends on what type of picture do you like, i believe LG has a very bright and rich (if not over vivid) colours, why samsung is more natural, do you have preference over korean tv compared to japanese tv?

I am using a 32" LG FullHD idtv LCD and it works pretty good except for the slow respond to the remote and menu.

LG and Samsung are both top notch brands when it comes to LCD TVs, and the differences are most likely minute. You probably wouldn't notice the difference in image quality unless you're willing to take some time to do some calibration.

Don't trust what you see in the store, because they've usually just maxed all the settings out. It doesn't apply to living room viewing at all. Don't let them sell you on the 200Hz fast motion stuff either, it's just a cheap post processing trick that doesn't apply well to anything other than their specific demos.

You can plug a 500Gb hard disk into your Samsung LED Tv, also the youtube widget is great for watching TV shows.

Thanks so much for helping! I've decided to buy a LG 37" LCD in the end!
