    Where would one go to find soil and bulbs to plant a few potted plants in HK?

    You can go to Mongkok and there are many florals. There are really a lot of choices of bulbs and seeds. Most shops there open from 7am to 7pm.

    Some large supermarkets or "$10 shops" may have soil and seeds.

    I agree Mongkok Flower Market is a great location for general supplies. There are also Garden shops in Pokfulam and a couple of other places. Check this thread...
