Can anyone recommend a place to get some reasonably priced furniture made please ? We'd like a painted computer cabinet and a dark wood bed - any ideas ??

try the shops along queens road in wanchai. you can pretty much get what you want made to order. failing that, sounds like macau or shenzhen are the places for a real bargain.

I know that B & B will custom-make furniture for you. They have a bunch of stores, but the one I know is in Causeway Bay next to Lee Theatre. It is a few doors down from the entrance to the GOD store.
