Spotlight is Coming to Hong Kong!

Hi! Just learned that Spotlight is opening a superstore in Hong Kong in June. For the uninitiated, Spotlight is Australia's largest superstore for home interiors, arts & crafts, dress making and party supplies. It's like Bed, Bath & Beyond meets Jo-Ann's and Michaels in the US. Very exciting as there's nothing like it in Hong Kong. And it's great value. I shop at Spotlight all the time when I go back to Oz. It is going to open at Mega Box (new shopping centre Kowloon Bay) on June 9.

youve just made my day - at last the best one stop shop for everything a fabric fanatic needs. spotlight is really a great shop and I have missed it since moving from australia 5 years ago. I will be camped on the doorstep haha

I could be all wrong about this .. but I tend to get cynical about such enthusiasm towards retail outlets. Its not like someone cured the common cold.

that's great! that's what I think we'll like about HK - so cosmopolitan with stores / brands from al over the the world - not like U.S. where everything is pretty much US centric.
