    Parknshop revises history

    My Friday rant.

When you order from parknshop, they send you an email. However, this document contains NOTHING useful - (like, perhaps the list of items you ordered might be sensible, but no).

Then they deliver the order. Yesterday several items were missing. They rang to say these were going to be missing but got MrMovingin07 who could not remember what they said. The piece of paper that comes with the order has no details of the missing items on it - they are just wiped from the record.

So, you want to check back against the order, to see what is missing, but, the email does not contain the list. So you log into the site (slowly, because they've updated it so it does not work well now) ... and discover the f%$$#ing order has also been revised, so there is NO RECORD of the original order.

Revisions of history. So Chinese. F'ing great.

Has anyone used the Wellcome version? Is it any better?

Wellcome Delivers comes with an itemised invoice/receipt on which items unavailable are shown struck through. The unavailable items are also shown as "discontinue" (sic) in the online past order history, although in fact it generally means simply "out of stock" rather than permanently discontinued. They also call you to notify you of the fact a couple of hours ahead of the delivery, presumably when they have done the stock-picking at the depot.

So they called and told you, it wasn't written down and you are moaning about it.

What they should do is send someone around to intercept the call, write it all down and job done.

I'm not the greatest fan of PnS internet shopping BUT at least they did call which is far better than several other services here.

Thanks. Might be worth trying them. PNS were really difficult last night. They also rang up to claim they could not deliver direct to the boat as it was "dangerous" ! WTF? Anyway I just refused to listen to that, told them to come to the boat and hung up. So they did. Just like the past two years worth of deliveries.....
