Banana Guard

Huja, I salute you.

I intend to equip my bananas (cavendish or otherwise) with these seemingly impervious shields. I will report back!

Well, I am reporting back.

My banana guard (bought from city super for 40 dollars - eek!) is..... meh.

I have to coax my bananas into the banana guard. None seem to fit. Two things would help me:

- a better curve on the guard; or
- a more malleable banana

Mine is from Canada, it is much better than the ones I've seen from HKG.

A "Banana Bunker" works better than the rigid plastic banana guards... most fit in these.
