    Wedding present

OK kids need to get the missus a wedding present. Any suggestions? Fully expect and welcome totally off topic and ridiculous suggestions.

How I'm glad I had a Chinese wedding. The best thing is that all the presents were MONEY or GOLD!!

To this day we've got more gold than cash in the bank haha.

But in pretty much any culture you can't go wrong with anything made of gold. It can also vary in price to suit any budget. So that would be my recommendation... jewellery

Not a Dyson or Washing Machine!

    Watch or jewellery.

Guys, this is a gift from me to the missus, not a gift at some random wedding.

    Rani, one month to go!

    Jimbo, thanks for the suggestions.

    Oops. I can't read.

I didn't notice the word missus so I thought it was a random wedding present.

Apart from expenses for the wedding, the ring, the honeymoon, etc... I didn't buy my wife a gift.

Uh oh... did I miss a big tradition?! Honestly didn't know about that..

mind you I had to give "Lai gum" to her parents (which basically means paying for the right to marry her!) although they insisted on giving it all back to me in the form of gifts and contributions to the wedding, since I'm not Chinese so they didn't want to force me into expensive Chinese traditions

(i could've always shown them the movie "father of the bride" if I wanted to get into the nifty gritty of this cultural clash!)
