Yes they do. Another minor plus point for the green fingered.

their gardening section isn't as big and extensive as flower market or something similar.

spotlight in my opinion could have been more successful if they were located in town or closer to town... like the spotlight location in singapore. if people did not find what they were looking for then they could go further to mongkok etc. at the moment.... mongkok is closer to town and have more variety. so for me it is more convenient to go mongkok besides why would i want to lug all the materials from megabox to town - just a hassle not unless i have a car.

also, if i was doing a project and needed some last minute supplies, i would rush to spotlight if it was in town but as it is it is way over there, it's not worth it to go all the way to get last minute supplies.

I think this is one of the major achilles heels of the whole venture.

If they have those buckets of chicken manure, I'm there. Haven't been able to find any in HK.

How big is the pure hardware part of the store compared to stores in the West? I've already tried trudging around the small hardware stores in Central and SSP and to be honest would prefer at 1 hour trip to complete store.

I tried 4 stores in Central/Sheung Wan this week- none of them had the size of vise clamp or even the types of allen key that I wanted- why do they all carry exactly the same inadequate range as every other store?!? Ah, a rant for another time!)

I'm not too sure, it has been a while, but I would say it is smaller. I don't recall seeing vise grips but they had sets of allen/hex keys.

OBI and BNQ are same company in China. BNQ has brought the OBI in China. There is no difference at all. I think in some of the cities have not changed the store name yet.

I was gonna go there this weekend, but looks like Ikea is still a better option for a wider selection of most 'commonly-used' items. To be honest, I'd like to see more of a home-depot style mall too, but unfortunately, there isn't much space in my house to do a lot of DIY! Though for someone in China - it would be really good I reckon.
