Murky, what about Davies and Sons on Savile Row? Davies and Son - Savile Row Tailor

Just jump on your private jet on Friday evening, get them to make the alterations on Saturday and then fly back Sunday morning, in time for dinner in Hong Kong.

    Job done.

I am finding a good tailor is like a best kept secret here. Those who have found a good one don't want to share because then lots of people go and their favourite tailors suddenly charges a lot more and the lead time extends.

Hubby goes to the British Textile Company in The Galleria.

Not the cheapest in town but excellent craftsmanship. He has his own in-house master tailor who does a lot of work on-site, so not like some where they just schlep the work over the border.

Richard, the owner, really knows his stuff.
