Any air cleaner with a HEPA cartridge and ionisation function should do. Get one with a charcoal filter to reduce odors. If you want a top of the range one, look at IQAir- some of their units are rated to remove virus-sized (ie incredibly tiny) particles from the air.
You might want to consider getting a salt crystal lamp which cleans the air by ionising and looks cool too.
Oh and for the odour keep a bowl of charcoal[expensive japanese or the local supermarket type] and occasional spray with a very dilute mix of your favourite essential oil and water.
You wn't even know you have a neighbour!
>> salt crystal lamp
where to buy it in Hong Kong ?
it uses electricity ?
Other than plants, any device that can generate negative ions without the need to plug to electric socket ?

why it is spraying on the charcoal surface ?
Well salt lamps are available at these natural food/new age type shops, I have seen some on Lyndhurst Terrace
G.O.D. has a very modern and expensive range. I got mine from a shop in Langham Place which alas has since gone bust as they only sold salt lamps.
The salt lamps have a small bulb encased in the lump of salt
It is best to always leave it on.
The charcoal will absorb odours and if you spray on your favorite scent, it will release that at the same time.
If the OP is worried about the negative health effects of secondhand smoke (as opposed by just the smell), then a fan-forced HEPA filter is pretty much the only way to go.
Simple ionisers just don't have enough airflow to clean a big room full of dirty air. And if they *did* generate that much ionised air, you'd probably have other problems to deal with. There is contradictory medical opinion on the use of ionisers.
