    Where to buy a battery

I want to buy a battery for my car key fob

It's one of those lithium coin type batteries a bit smaller than a ten pence coin. At CR2032 to be precise.

The local supermarkets don't seem to stock these

In the uk or us I would buy at radio shack etc

Where will I find these in Hk?!

    Thanks

    Phil

I got one of those at Japan Home Centre recently. Had to get a strip of 5 (all they had) but it was only HK$10 for all five!

Japan Home Centre has them. I use them to make little toys with LEDs I buy up on Ap Liu Street in Sham Shui Po.

Now if it is a unique battery and you can't find it at JHC or other places, than Ap Liu Street in Sham Shui Po is your best bet. Several different battery dealers selling all sorts of batteries.

You should be able to find a little local street kiosk selling this sort of thing. I certainly have one near me in the mid-levels. The place that also sells light bulbs, and stuff like that.

+1 for Japan Home Centre, they have most batteries. A camera store might have them too.

I get mine from a couple of kiosks on 1st floor of admiralty centre. Can buy just one if that's all you need.
