    Salty liquorice

Does anyone know where I can get hold of Salty liquorice (like Jungelvrål, Turkisk Peber...)? I'm suffering from serious Withdrawal syndrome having lived here for one year without any Salty liquorice.

Any nordic friends that can give me tips?

Ps, I have checked IKEA. Nothing there

I came back from Norway recently and bought a couple of cans of Turkisk Peber and some of those salty "fish". I'm not a candyman, but that stuff is so refreshing.

Not for sale. No wait.. name a price.. no! NOT FOR SALE!

Fiona in HKG and arkalon like this.

You can order almost anything from www.hjemve.dk
Or wait until the Danish Xmas bazaar in November (which is an awful long time to wait, I know!)

Really? If that was a true offer then you have bought yourself a new friend here in HK (I'm from Stockholm also actually [Tyresö]).

In return, I offer you my wife...........'s cantonese knowledge so you can get some good food instead of the overpriced western stuff. Deal?

Thanks for the tip! I'll add that to the calendar and bookmark.

Now, please join me in a marketing campaign to teach the people of Hong Kong to learn to enjoy the flavor of Ammonium Chloride so that we can spread the joy over the world and achieve world peace.
If they can eat Stinky Tofu then they can love Salmiak!

Haha, Yea, that could probably hold me for a month However, I have noticed that the HK humidity wreck havoc on TP and would most likely fuse them together into a 2.2KG lump of Salmiak. But I guess I could split it in smaller bags and put them in the fridge. Thanks for the tip.

To be honest - I have no problem that my passion for black, sticky, salty liquorice is not shared by every one. I can have a bag of piratos/turkish pepper at home....all to myself. Actually my wife refuse to call it candy
