I couldn't find anything like that when I was looking for a solution to earwigs. So I just brought home some Borax last time I visited Canada.

Now I'm back, and I haven't seen one since :\

Wikipedia indicates it's use as an antiseptic, so it might be worth trying a pharmacy store.

I found my container of Boric Acid powder in a Walgreens drugstore stateside.

I'd doubt shops like Watsons or Mannings would carry it. Look for the mom'n'pop style pharmacies.

Given the sizeable jewelery manufacturing industry in HK, there should be a steady consumption rate of Boric Acid. IOW, it's not an exotic product.
