Where can I buy work gloves?

Not sure if this should be in the shopping forum, but does anyone know where I can buy work gloves from? I've signed up for a Habitat for Humanity build in Guangdong next month, and they recommend that we bring our own gloves. Around Central would be preferred.

If in Central, check out Wellington Street, West of the Escalator. There are a number of hardware stores along Wellington after you pass the escalator.

Other recommendations are in Wanchai. If you know where the Paisano's is in Wanchai you'll find a few hardware / power tool shops right next to it at the MTR.

There is also a place at Lockhart Road / Canal Road that seems to specialize in safety gear. I bought some ear protection there before I went to the Grand Prix in Macau.

For something less technical all supermarkets sell cotton gloves - v v cheap. We use them hiking and when picking up rubbish.

Thanks penguin, will take a walk down Wellington after work.

Moving, we'll need something a little more heavy duty since the activities include digging foundations and tying steel rebar. Can't risk getting my manicure ruined!

For future reference, managed to find a decent pair at Shing Hing Metalware & Paint on Wellington Street, it's right opposite Habibi Cafe. Cost me 12 bucks.
