    1. Thoroughly cleanse the face morning and night with a soap-free cleanser such as Cetaphil or Physiogel. Any "boutique" cleanser with soap or a foaming agent can further clog the pores...

    6. Only moisturise in dry areas, and only use a fragrance free moisturizer such as Cetaphil moisturizing cream. Do not use much.

With the so called high end products you are just paying for advertising and vanity.

(P.S. That advice would have cost you about US$500 if you had made an appointment to see him!)
    This post is so ironic.

Don't use expensive products, but if you come see me I'll charge you US$500 for a 10 minute consultation.....

It's good to see that blokes are just as gullible as chicks when it comes to the cosmetics industry!

On the one hand, you can pay through the nose for straightforward, sensible advice from a highly intelligent, dedicated professional who has spent close to ten years studying medicine.

Or you can pay through the nose to support large marketing machines that base their claims on pseudoscience.

Both parties will be making money off consumer insecurity, but at least one party doesn't have an overtly vested interest in keeping consumers confused and ignorant.

Nah, can't help you there. I just pick up a load when overseas. I've found some references to it on HK sites, but it's expensive. So in HK, I just buy Cetaphil an equivalent. Not quite as effective, but not as greasy either.

My 2 cents is, whether it's for women or men- the key to good youthful skin? Having enough rest, taking good care of yourself, good food(collagen), good air you name it. While a $3000 set of skin care products can have some positive effect but I find its effects mostly just temporarily. Occasionally i would dig into pocket and use $$ ones(shiseido okay but i've had skin allergic reaction of SKII ! Yikes) but i'd rather spend the money on better quality food. Cheap ones will do- i've been using Olay since i was a teenager and it's good enough for me!
