    no, but looks like a dehumidifier type solution (the enclosed bag makes it more efficient)

    Heard good things about them but never used one as they tend to be on the small side.

    Off memory they consume a large amount of energy but I can't remember the figures. More than a dehumidifier, but they probably work faster.

    Another alternative is to vertically stack a dryer over a washer. There are fairly standard floor mounted brackets that allow you do do this.

    I recently brought a Philco Washing Machine. Model: PW712L - 7kgs, 1200rpm spin speed (good for spinning out all the water from clothes). Comes with a 2 year warranty. http://www.gilman-group.com/index.ph...mid=14&lang=en

    I might add, my last washing machine was also a Philco combo. I had that for 4.5 years and then sold it (it was working fine, just wanted a bigger washer with faster spin speed). I never once used the dryer in the years that I owned it.
