Short question, does Banana Republic have shops/distributors in HK?

No BR shops in Hong Kong.

Their is a buying office here but they don't sell samples or anything however, you can find samples and over production goods in a variety of shops throughout Hong Kong ... suggest you check in Wan Chai, Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok as well.

Possibly not of any help to you but they do have outlets in Singapore?

yeah, BR and Gap is actually everywhere in other southeast asian markets like KL, Jakarta and Singapore... but not in hk... so strange. altho may be smart since they have pretty much the same stuff as g2000/giordano and uniqlo... honestly i find br kinda overpriced considering all their stuff is made in china /hk etc...and the designs are boring... (how many shades of khakis can there be?!?)
