    Turkish Bread/Toast -Anywhere?

One of the things that I loved back home was a cup of great coffee and some turkish bread toasted.

Haven't seen any in Hong Kong since we arrived. Do any cafe's, bakeries or supermarkets stock it?

    Thanks

Hmmmmm, the closest one that it looks like from your link PDLM is Bazlama.

It has a more even texture than naan and is 'fluffy' on the inside.

Does that make sense??? It was always just called Turkish bread in Aus.

    Is Pide fluffy???

Pide (known more commonly by its Greek name Pita) is widely available. For example, my local Wellcome (Robinson Road) sells nice pitas freshly made by the people who run Habibi restaurant - they come in two versions: one plain and one with za'atar (thyme).

I guess I'd describe it as slightly fluffy!

There is a small Turkish eatery on Lockhart Road in Wanchai - a few steps from Curry Pot as I recall. It's not what I ordered, but I think they did have the kind of bread you described in your last post, BR75. Couldn't say from the pictures if it was toasted.

There is a small and very blue-colored Turkish sandwich shop in Mongkok. I don't have the exact address, but if you happen to stumble upon it while you're in that area, the sandwiches are yuuummmmyyy.
