    Watch for 50th birthday, Male

I'd like to get my husband a nice watch for his 50th birthday, which sounds easy in HK given so many shops - but which one to get?!

He likes high quality, classic style watches (so none of the flashy types beloved by the Chinese). But I'm not sure what is a "good" watch vs what is a "fashionable" watch. The former is what I am looking for!

Any suggestions as to a good place to look where I would not be ripped off? Something that would hold its value would be nice. Price range 50-100k.

Lots of choices for that budget.

    Rolex, Breitling etc.

Stick with the silver strap if you want understated class.

I got an Omega Speedmaster for my 40th, best birthday gift I ever got. I have always preferred Omega over Rolex.

Oh wow. website linked by wbhotia has even MORE choices!

I didn't realise omega was a good brand. I thought it was an "average" brand (I used to have one! Lost it, I think).

I like the look of the sea masters. Just wish I knew what husband would like.
