Does anyone know of any good shops where I can get good deals on mobile phones without contracts? I posted this in the other forum and nobody replied, maybe re-directing it may help thanks!

Hi
I bought a mobilr last week in a shop off Nathan road - pay & go for equivalent of about 40pounds
Loads of places round there are doing them - I'm only here for a couple of months so just needed something simple

Quite honestly, if you are foreigner and cannot speak Cantonese, you are probably a perfect target for those Electronic Retail Sharks on Nathan Roads or Mongkok. Secondly, you may be buying some parallel imported stuffs where only the shop,who sold you the phone, to provide the so call warranty. Last but not least, you may probably end up with a freshly re-packaged refurbished phone. My advise is, go to those big chain stores like Fortress, Broadway and Tailin eventhough the price will be higher.
BTW, Fortress is doing a great discount on Motorola Z8 for less than $2000 with Standard Charter/Manhattan Card, I am seriously thinking about getting one (even knowing that Z10 is around the corner)
