Got to a local dispensing chemist with your smartphone pre-loaded with images of generic brand local alternative and armed with the phrases 'generic' and canto phrases for too expensive and other brand.

Or walk in and ask for a premium western brand and pay premium western brand prices.

Does Hong Kong limit the number of pills per bottle like other caring governments?

True, but these artisan soaps are ridiculously marked up. Minimum $60 for a small bar that doesn't necessarily last a long time. I would really like to support local craftsmen/women, but unfortunately these are too pricy.

I was just looking at this at Just Green, which is a little local organic chain store. It's cheaper in the US... here it was (I think) $69 for 8 ounces, and $196? for 32 ounces. Sometimes you can find cheaper places. I think, for example, Organic 21 has the soaps a bit cheaper, and then CitySuper (large supermarket) has some cheaper prices sometimes for these soaps.
