    I think its the declared value that is causing the problems, all my packages have very little declared value on them, usually they only state a few US$ value

    You should have 14 days after the import to send in the declaration form. The charges are in the cents/low dollars. The penalty for being late is 20 - 200 HKD.

    Who was the shipping company? I've been tearing my hair out with UPS recently... although that has been more on delivery incompetence than anything else.

    Yeah I used HopShopGo/Comgateway in the past and this was my first time with Borderlinx shipping. I will sort it out on Monday

    I used Borderlinx a lot and the shipped using DHL. That was part of why I chose Borderlinx as I've always been very happy with DHL in HK....when I lived in Central, they'd deliver up to 10pm (so no need to use work as a shipping address) and when I was in DB, they'd deliver on Sat if they knew I was going to be at work during the week. Really impressed with them, they made it so easy. I wish DHL in the rest of the world was as impressive as the HK guys!
