Question Mid-range men's dress shoes: where to buy?

There appear to be plenty of bespoke, top-end men's shoes makers/stores, and then you have your cheapo choices (Zara, markets, etc), but I struggle to find stores that sell mid-range, good-quality-yet-sensibly-priced men's dress shoes, say, in the HK$ 1,000-1,500 range.

    Anyone got recommendations?

That price isn't mid range it's still lower end.

    Try Marks and Spencer's
    Or go to Sogo

No it's not. You don't seem to know much about shoes.

Sogo is above that price point, M&S might be an idea. They have a very limited selection though.

Actually yes I do. Since you don't appear to know where to buy shoes in Hk.
I've bought lower end shoes in HK from H&M and they were shite barely lasted 3 months.

Zara is ok but again they won't last.
M&S will last you a few years at least.

I've paid $5000 for a pair of Dior Boots and they've lasted me 6 years, only need the soles redone twice in that time.

Sogo and Aeon etc will have shoes in that price range you want

Those two sentences have no logical or even linguistic connection. Your English is pretty mediocre. Are you even an expat here?

Cool, but all of that is irrelevant information. Pity you wasted your time. It doesn't change the fact that 1,000-1,500 is firmly mid-range. Didn't say that mid-range doesn't extend further up.

I doubt it, but will have a look when I get around to it, maybe something's on sale.

Usually Harvey Nichols, Lane Crawford and Seibu WHEN on sale, plenty of options between 1 and 2.5k
