Coffee filter cone - Where to find this one?

Hey guys, I need a bit of help. I always use this Melitta ceramic coffee filter cone to make my coffee, and it's now on it's last leg. Got it in Germany many years ago. I feel I've seen this particular one somewhere in Hong Kong, but I've checked Wing On and Barista Jam in Sheung Wan and had no luck. They had another brand ceramic cone filter, and I find it's really only the Melitta one (pictured) that works to make the coffee I like (most have a hole that is too big and the coffee pours through too quickly).

If anyone knows where to buy or has seen this Melitta 102 coffee cone somewhere, please let me know! Would be good to know the price, too. Or let me know if you have any other suggestions for a new way to try making coffee...

    Thanks!!!

Melitta filter cone is not common in HK; less so is its ceramic version as Hario and Kalita seem to dominate the scene. You can try your luck at City Super but I won't hold my breath for that.

You can try Kitamuracoffee in Happy Valley for lots of ceramic drip cone.

Closer to u is the Cupping Room that uses Melitta ceramic filter come #4 for its drip coffee program; they might know where u can find #2.

Or you could use a Japanese base rakuten which is like amazon I guess. Roughly ard hk$200 all in but u need to double check that.

If you allow some variation, Starbucks in hk sells its own brand one hole white ceramic cone dripper. Your best bet is at its "Reserve" cafe, opposite The One in Tsim Sha Tsui and on the third floor of Lee Garden Two in causeway bay.

Hiya, thanks very much for a very thorough reply. I don't have much time to go chasing around for one, but I'll stop by the Cupping Room. Pity it's not more common...

City super in IFC have a decent selection of Hario stuff. Used to be on the far right hand side after the tea/coffee stuff and before kitchen utensils etc. Alternatively buy from Amazon as they also sell them with s better selection (ceramic and plastic ones).

Thanks very much for posting this. It's really the melita one I'm after. I still haven't found it, but perhaps I should see if the Starbucks one is similar. I'm just not sure I could bring myself to make my coffee with a product of theirs everyday.
