    Microwaveable Brown Rice (in bags)

    Hi All,

Does anyone know where to find the rice in bags that you microwave for about 2 mins and its done? The supermarket I am currently going to doesnt seem to have it.

    Thanks.

    Korea Grocery Stores

Check out the Korean grocery stores on Kimberly Street in TST. They have microwaveable brown and white rice like in the photo below.

You know you can microwave normal rice too? Put rice in a bowl, add about a pint of boiling water from the kettle, put on high and leave for 13 mins. Come back and enjoy dry fluffy rice.

Consider a bowl of rice, how many bowl of water should there be? 13 mins, that's quite specific innit.

13 mins on high works well - 15 is good if it's a portion for two..... my recipe was rice for one

    Hi Movingin07,

Would you please more specify the rice to water ratio?
I would like to cook some rice but I don't have a rice cooker right now.
