    Where to buy furniture

    Hi

Could anyone suggest some places to buy Hong Kong(small) size furniture? Such as sofa, coffee table, TV stand, dining table/chair, dresser,etc..
I may have to buy a whole new set of furniture since my current furniture(they are on their way here) won't fit in my new and small apartment. My previous apartment is about 3 times bigger than the new one in Hong Kong. So all my furniture are oversized for the new apartment in HK.

I would like to buy good quality but reasonablely priced furniture with simple and funtional design.
    and I like L-shaped sofa...
Although it is like mission impossible to fit in my new small apartment....

take a look at IKEA's Manstad L-shaped sofa bed; we have the earlier version Fagelbo, and it's great for having guests over, has storage and is smaller than a typical sofa. I think its around 5K...

You may have a look here: ARIA I bought a dinning set there, their products are quite suitable for small size apartments, and I also found them much stylish compared to Ikea etc.

For those out in the Eastern New Territories, Grand Central Plaza has a number of furniture stores, 3 floors in fact, including an Ikea store. The whole shopping complex has revamped recently, and now offers Indigo, Alessi, among quiet a few new home decor shops, interior design, kitchen suppliers, and bedding stores..

I have provided links below. BTW Grand Central Plaza Shatin, is actually Phase IV ( 4 ) of the Newtown plaza..

That sounds just like the place I have been searching for sometime, after the "usual suspects" (Sofamarks, PriceRite, IKEA ...) didn't yield much results in my quest. Thanks for the tip!

Based on my colleague's suggestion I went to Jusco in Kornhill (Taikoo MTR Station) and they have indeed furniture on the 3rd floor. Nothing fancy and some of the stuff is also sold at other places (like that Borsche "brand") but the selection is quite big, at least for the basic, off-the-shelf stuff like wardrobes, wall systems and dining tables etc. Quality varies but then it's not too expensive IMO.
