Amazon - not much but obviously for the Kindle store...

yes I like the book depository
especially when I see large fashion/ photography album in store and it's too heavy(and lazy) to carry it home,
I'll just order online and it's mostly cheaper and doesn't charge us shipping. thumbs up!

But I don't think Taobao products are unique enough for a special gift.. or souvenir.. as they are all factory made and copying each other's design

But what how about the shipping? I bought from Ebay once (from 3 sellers) and realise I'm paying way too much delivery cost..
Second time I use a logistic website call DimBuy to gather parcel from different sellers first then ship it to HK. So much work to do but it does save me around $200

I wanted to try out Taobao but found it quite annoying to deal with last time I checked. I might just use Amazon once I read more on shipping companies people use to send their stuff too them. I saw a bunch of people mention iherb.com, though I haven't tried it myself

I haven't shopped as much online as I would in LA. I miss Amazon Prime (same - next day delivery) and Now (1-2 hour delivery). Their customer service is really good.
