Any differences in ikea shatin and kowloon bay, in Parking wise kids facilities and restaurant, thx

Just wondering, any differences in parking wise or restaurant facilities in ikea shatin (which I go every so often basis, it's packed on public holidays) and their flagship store in kowloon bay? additional bonus kids facilities, I know that shatin has a good one, how does kowloon bay compare, thx

I need to buy a sofa from there

May I suggest Poland - it's cheaper and probably less crowded too.

and if your going at the weekend you'll probably get parked quicker.

    Serious answer
Shatin Ikea at weekends usually has a shorter queue for the car park than Megabox, and you can walk over to Shatin Town Centre malls for restaurants etc.

yes, use to be the case, since last few months, people use to use the government car park opposite at HK$16 per hour, now some crap company taken over and increase it to HK$29 per hour, hence the big queue on sunday afternoon

i just asked a friend, kowloon bay is slightly bigger, but they have car park queues, but generally about the same,

his point is that there is not much difference, and that if you want less hassle, go there before 11am

We found it cheaper. They don't deliver...at least they didn't...we arranged our own transport.

We always go via Shenzhen Bay but we have a bus that leaves from outside my office and goes straight over...B3x...

My only experience is with Shatin restaurant which is an absolute zoo at all times of day, full of locals hoarding whole tables while they wait for their single relative to stand in the really long food queue... makes my blood boil! Learn how to use a canteen ffs. / rant over.
