    Roast/Cooked Ham Joint

    Hi all,

Does anyone know where to buy a pre cooked/pre roast ham joint, without the bone, trying to find if these are stocked in Hk supermarkets is proving difficult.

I don't have an oven so needs to be cooked, but i'll be turning it into soup.

    Something like this

Have you tried Citisuper in Causeway Bay, or Olivers in Central?

Taste in Festival Walk has the uncooked no bone hams, they may have cooked as well, but just boil the ham instead of roasting, you can use the water as stock for the soup then.

Olivers has a baked orange and honey gazed ham for $310 per kg. It's in its Christmas catalogue (page 9), which is also on its website. Order deadline is December 21.

Great has a boneless pineapple ham at $28/100g. It also has a "Glazed Holiday Ham Set' for $1,899, whatever that entails.

Order four days before pick up. Click on the Christmas Menu Pre-Order button (opens PDF order form).

Sounds like it would be painful to smoke!

I was in M&S yesterday. They have them in a variety of sizes.

And an awful lot of other Christmas goodies

I really can't handle M&S at Christmas time.

Ditto and I did gird my loins before entering. Apart from a lot of wandering grannies and grandpas, it wasn't too bad at all and only four people in the food department check-out queue! Mind you it was a weekday mid-afternoon

It is indeed very Christmassy in there.
