    Christmas Trees

I have just ordered my Xmas Tree from Ikea. I know you can't see them before you buy but I had one for the last 2 Xmas' and they were perfect. they arrived in a bucket and although some needles dropped it still looked good until i threw it out in Jan. I saw some of the Wellcome stores are also taking orders from them but I have no idea what these are like.

I read something this morning about a gift and lifestyle fair at the Conrad Hotel. If this is the same thing as the Xmas fair last year just renamed then there were lots of gifts and decorations there. If it isn't then look out for the Xmas fair. It was really good and lots of local charities have stalls there selling cards etc. The CAB will be able to help as I know they sell Xmas cards at the fairs......

I wouldn't get too excited just yet. Last two years they have had a fair on the grassy patch between the mall and the ferry terminals. Both times it was a little better than awful and more "market" than "Christmas."

I hope I'm wrong, but my get feeling is this year will be same thing again.
