Playstation 3 Game retail shops

Good Morning All;

My mother in law is staying in Hong Kong next month and wants to buy me some games for my Playstation 3 for christmas. She is in her 70's so to make life a little easier can anyone recommend some shops that sell the games and will be easy for her to go straight to. Also, what is the general retail price for a PS3 game in HK?

Any help would be gratefully received

She can go to any Fortress shop in Hong Kong and find some games there. Maybe suggest her to go to Harbour City (shopping mall) in Kowloon? Inside, it has a Fortress and some other places that sell ps3 games.

Toys R Us too, They'll have a wider range than Fortress and HMV

please note that a large proportion of games from hk (offcial and import releases) are in japanese with possibly no english option, though some are not.

However, there is a hk based online company which sells, US as well as Jap games

I have yet to find a PS3 game sold in HK with no English menu options. Maybe some obscure Japanese made RPG game hasn't got multi language options? And i doubt you can actually find such a game in a Fortress or Toy r Us.

In 99.9% of the cases the game looks at the used language of the console, and shows the same language while booting the game. The box can be covered with Chinese characters, once you boot the game, English will be shown (if your console is set to English of course).

i bought the chinese version of Little Big Planet...and it booted up in English. Most of the games are like that nowadays...multilingual...boots based on console settings.

no sham shui po's golden arcade shopping centre or wan chai's 188 is the cheapest as well as has the best range, as these places have multiple shops just selling video games
