    Refrigerator

The apartment I will be renting has the usual appliances but not a refrigerator.

I am looking to buy one, possibly a Panasonic or similar.

Anyone able to recommend an inexpensive, reliable source that will deliver?

Tips on good models and ones to avoid would also be much appreciated.

    TIA,
    frankl

Sorry, that should have been: will deliver to Hang Hau (on the Tseung Kwan O line).

www.fortress.com.hk would be the obvious choice.

    Thanks, PDLM.

However, I note the thread titled "Fortress sucks."

    Any reliable, reasonably priced alternatives?

Pity I missed the Tai Lin closing-down sale.

Braodway is the next biggest chain I think. Their website seems to be only in Chinese but the addresses of the shops are in English.
    Broadway addresses
I'm sure you'll find just as high a proportion of its customers think Broadway sucks as do Fortress (with whom I have been perfectly happy over the years).

You could also try DSC, Wing On, Jusco. There may also be a local neighbourhood electrical shop which has good deals.

Gome in Metro City Plaza (Po Lam) is good. We bought a Siemens fridge there and were very happy with it (free delivery)

Thanks for the useful suggestions, Claire and timklip.

Will check out DSC and Gome (free delivery sounds good!)
in Metro City. Also Wing On and Jusco in Taikoo.

PDLM, I have bookmarked that link, thanks.
Glad Fortress has at least one satisfied customer!

    humanbeing,

    Their website looks interesting.
As I am still in Kowloon, their
    showroom isn't that far, and
I'll make the trek out this week.

    Thanks for the tip.
