buying 75 traditional folding fans need them before friday

Where do they sell the old school fans these days? (preferably not expensive ones)

I'm going to a wedding in Sweden, flying Friday. It's been very hot (for Sweden) and the bride asked if I could get 75 Chinese fans so that people have the option to use them and a keepsake.

I said yes no problem, but now am like... actually everywhere sells electronic fans now... Where would you get them?

Have you checked along ApLiu Street in Sham Shui Po?

Or the junk gadget store across from Golden Computer:

For all my Chinese souvenir needs, I shop at Elegant Tang Dynasty (Wan Chai, Central, the Peak, Tsim Sha Tsui). Prices are right (usually a discount if you buy a quantity of some product). I am sure you could get 75 fans from them. They are pretty helpful. I am guessing you can probably order cheaper online but you are leaving soon so no delivery time. You could also go to the Ladies Market in Mong Kok or a night market but I hate bargaining so that's why I go to this place.

Ladies market will be the cheapest place. I've purchased fans there before. Plenty of stalls I would say pretty easy to get 75

By the way, assuming your Swedish wedding is outside, there are a number of cheap DIY air conditioning tricks they can use. Most involve water, e.g a wet towel over a normal fan, a spray in front of a normal fan or running an irrigation line ((basically a hose with tiny spray holes) around the roof of any structures (like marquees) which then evaporate and cool the air. Used a similar setup in. A 40 degree semi-outdoor Xmas party in Australia a couple of years back.

Just in case they don't know these things not being hot usually! Work better in dryer heat, not humid heat like HK.

the company can personalise print them, but you won't have enough time to do this

Yes, I think that pic is the Wan Chai store, have bought a ton of stuff for family there and at the Peak over the years. Best T-shirt prices too for really nice-quality T's. My mother has had several of the embroidery pieces framed and they look great. My family never gets tired of souvenirs so I always bring things back...
