Christmas Decorations

Anyone know where I can get good (not cheap and tacky) Christmas decorations? We live in Shenzhen, and its all tinsel and plastic here!!

keep a lookout for christmas fairs at various hotels (marriot, conrad etc). i remember they do promote the events here on geoexpat.

Or city super, where you can find the usual stuff for expats..

They have setup a full area in Times Square just for Christmas decorations..

I bought some in Ikea last year, there is also a christmas fair outside the IFC the beg on Dec, fom Tues til Thurs I think 6-8th but I could be wrong about the dates....... Lane Crawford had some lovely ones last year too.

I have just come back from the Flower Market and there is a HUGE shop full of christmas decs. When you walk towards the flower market from Prince Edward MTR there is a big shop called Brighten on the corner of Flower Market Street and Sai Yee Street. They have the usual cheap stuff, plastic trees and glittery baubles etc but I bought some really pretty brass and mother of pearl tree hanging decs and some glass ones. It was packed at about 2pm today. There are 3 floors and they deliver if you get carried away !! Some of the flower shops have already got nice christmas cactus and poinsettas too.
