    Indoor plants

Can anyone recommend a nursery to buy indoor plants in Mid-Levels/Sheung Wan area - or even further?

Looked at some local florist type shops but they're not cheap there!

We were recommended a flower market in Kowloon but checking if there's something closer.

    Thanks :-)

Others will advise on something closer but I think you should go to this flower market in Kowloon nonetheless (it's called Mongkok Flower Market, Prince Edward's MTR station Exit B1) and at the same time, visit the Yuen Po Street Bird's Market that is right next to it, this will make a nice Saturday afternoon.

@RoyM - there are a couple in Pok Fu Lam.

And another one on Victoria Road in Shui Choi Tin Village

From what I've heard, the prices are a little bit more expensive than the flower market in Kowloon. However, these are full blown nurseries so you may find more inventory.

Good idea, sounds like the flower market and bird's market will be quite an experience. Thanks!

    Great, thanks for these!

Would you like some snake (aka mother-in-law's-tongue) plant? I could drop it off for you in Central. What are you looking for?

I have bought plants at this shop in Sheung Wan, on the G/F of Queen's Road in Union Way Commercial Center. The shop keepers are friendly. Prices about the same as the flower market in Prince Edward.

Thanks! I'll check them out. And get back to you on the snake plant.

Prince Edward is just a few MTR stations away from Sheung Wan.
And seriously, the choices and price worth the 20 mins trip.

Try Ikea if you are looking for something younger/smaller in size. Can check availability on-line. Bought a peace lilly from them on a whim. So far so good.

Thanks, actually got one of those from Ikea too, but now looking for bigger standalone plants.
