    Fortress - Online vs. In-store

Just a quick one - is Fortress' online click and collect price likely to be better/worse than the 'best price' available in store if you were to haggle a bit?

I've never tried to haggle in a Fortress. They have listed prices and unlikely to be able to offer a lot lower than anything official. This may be a discount through using a type of credit card, but more common is expect a load of useless freebies.

In the shop you can often get 10% off not sure how that would work online.

When I was shopping for a laptop a few months ago they were offering maybe 10-15% off the labelled price (and some freebies). Perhaps just for high ticket items but its a phone im looking for.

You could go for Expansys HK. No need for haggling. A lot of discounted stuffs and yes, they are all original items (and new too although they have a separate category for B grade goods aka already used). The only "downside" is they're parallel goodies which is okay to me since all I need is a brand new stuff in a cheaper rate and no need for bargaining.

You can always ask in Fortress, Broadway etc. for a better price. With big items, washing machines, fridges, a/c it often works. Also ask for credit card promotions. I got a $100 off for a already cheap hand blender. Nothing to loose, do it.

And no official warranty if something breaks down.

They do have an "extended service plan" that serves as an equivalent of "warranty" . If anything goes wrong with the device purchased, they will fix it or replace it.

Just ask if you can get a discount, usually they'll give you 5% off sometimes more.
