Anyone Taobao'ed in the last few weeks?

It’s my annual long break (birthday) and all plans for spending the time away were long cancelled. Still got another 2 weeks just moping around the flat. For a while now I’ve been meaning to get back into painting Warhammer miniature figurines, and Sod’s law all the Warhammer shops in HK are temporarily closed due to the virus.

I’ve sorted a seller on Taobao with a vast catalogue of what I want, but am unsure if Taobao still ‘works’ during this period. One colleague I spoke to says consignments are actually quicker now, but would like to see what other experiences are like before I place a hefty order.

Thanks, will have a search through those links.

Went ahead and placed an order, but was contacted by the seller that due to Games Workshop’s restrictions they cannot ship to HK......

I used Taobao a few times in early March and all was fast n fine. No worries at all. Even delivery to HK was next day.

We've had a bunch of stuff delivered in the last week, and even today... no problems.

Just picked up a bun h of reusable masks that the Mrs ordered early last week from TaoBao.

Check and message the vendor to make sure they are opening and shipping.

No can do, the seller mentioned they are restricted from even sending it to a consignment company to then shop to HK.

No clue then. We used TopExpress to ship from China to us.

I've been Taobao-ing daily. Buying masks for friends and other knick knacks.

I put stuff in my shopping cart and Taobao will recommend other sellers with the same product. If one seller won't ship to you there will be another that will. Just keep trying. Also before you pay speak to the seller to make sure they're back at work and have stock.

Shipping within China is taking an extra day or two. TopExpress takes 1 day.

are you trying to order paint? (what kind/brand?) if you manage to find a shop/courier who's willing to ship on taobao let me know.
the most annoying thing about buying paint in HK is that they never have the colors that I need.
