    Pricerite vs IKEA

Hi folks, just wanted to ask if anyone has experience buying furniture from Pricerite? From their website, it seems they are not that cheaper compared to IKEA and some customers complained about the long shipping and installation. Appreciate the feedback, thank you!

Not too sure if IKeA has gotten over their inventory issues.

At the end of the day.. they have a better depth and breath in offerings than ProceRite. Probably better quality too depending on what you are purchasing.

What's sometimes advantageous about Pricerite is that they make Hong Kong-home-size furniture. Like their coffee tables are small and practical

We had second hand wardrobes from Pricerite for over 6 years. They were good and solid, but spare shelves were not sold (any longer msybe
    ) and that was annoying.

Now have ikeapax and they're solid, too. Get the job done.

Just explore both and see which meets your needs/space best.

Pricelite likely don't make their own furniture. they are a retail seller.. behind them tonnes of different provider.. so you have to look around sit on each of the chair/bed etc to see if they suits you, if the quality appears sound.. I have had some items from pricelite that lasted well for the last 6 years as well.. but won't be surprise if some of them dont.. you have to figure out also if some designs are practically lasting.

This could be one of the alternatives as suggested by The Brit

How long did it take them to ship the furniture to your place?

Some people on here have never had the ‘pleasure’ of MFI. I’ve bought from both. For furniture Pricerite>IKEA. For other items, cutlery, plates, glasses etc (and candles!!!!) IKEA wins.

I will say this though. My IKEA bed is still going strong and the mattress as firm as ever (I should replace it actually).

cant recall but might have been around 2 months. It had to be tailored made and then delivered by a team of 3 dudes.
