    Transfer warehouse for Taobao orders

Trying to get a few customized items (stainoess steel kitchen tables) ordered through Taobao selllers. When I order standard items I can get them shipped to HK most of the time without issues. But when discussing customization all of the.sellers say they can only ship to a "transfer warehouse" (转运仓), and Im not quite sure where to turn here. Wondering if anyone has any experience navigating these and understands better what they mean here, or has specific recommendations for conpanies rhat can help with the transfer to HK?

Check the sticky thread kn this forum.. a bunch of people here (including us) use top express for shipping from China to HK.

Instructions might be a bit outdated.. best to use them as a guide. There are a few other warehouses too.

There are so many now... Cainiao, BuyUp + several more I came across but can't remember the name of. I'd say check what's nearby to where you live, that would probably be most convenient for you. I use BuyUp and they are reasonably priced. Website not great, and everything is in Chinese, but once you get the hang of it it's now become routine.

Taobao also has its own forwarders built into the checkout process, so you can try those too (but they cost more).

Most individual sellers don't want to deal with customs declarations and all the fluff that goes with it. The forwarders would handle this instead, and in most case (I imagine) customs are quite lax with them anyways, partially trusting them as gatekeepers. This is speculation on my part.
