    Red face Specific watch needed

My husband used to have a watch which had a large face, digital, thin (as opposed to chunky) and surrounding the face and strap was moulded into one piece, rubber. He's been searching for ages for one but hasn't found one to date. Anybody seen watches around like the one he's after? Thanks.

Sorry, I'll ask him and let you know. I think it may have been a casio but not sure.

I think I may know the watch you are after. I have seen copies at a few stalls along Fa Yuen Street (Prince Edward). The is a small shopping centre of a few floors on the corner of Dundas Street and Nathan Road, Mong Kok, where all sorts of watches may be found. Map + marks the spot Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!

It sounds like the old G-Shock, they were not chunky but had the rubber protecting it

The OP did say it might be a Casio, also most common G-Shocks are the newer bulky type ones that have all kinds of functions, the older models are basically the flat types with rubber around it, basic functions of a digital watch.

I used to have one that looked like the GWM5600-1 but not so many functions, that watch was brilliant, nearly lasted me 10 years, the only reason I had to change was all the rubber bits started falling off.

We can't remember what brand the watch was but it definitely wasn't a G-shock. No worries, thanks for your replies, we'll keep hunting....
